Three days of world-class racing, international talent, and a grand prize-giving ceremony marked the return of the world’s premier Aquabike event to Qatar

Old Doha Port, in collaboration with Doha Marine Sports Club brought the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship – Grand Prix of Qatar to a thrilling close from October 30 to November 1, 2025, along the Mina Corniche.  Returning to Qatar after nearly a decade, the event transformed Old Doha Port’s waterfront into a global stage for high-speed competition and maritime excellence.

Over three action-packed days, 90 riders from more than 20 countries competed across several major categories, including the UIM-ABP World Championship (final round), Continental Asia Championship (final round), World Slalom Parallel Championship (round two), and the Continental Asia Runabout GP2 Championship. The event also featured night freestyle shows that drew large crowds of spectators, offering an unforgettable combination of sport and entertainment.

The championship culminated with a prize-giving ceremony, celebrating the top-performing athletes across each category. Winners were honoured for their outstanding performances that reflected the spirit of international sportsmanship and excellence.
