The Qatar Boat Show 2025 kicked off at Old Doha Port with an outstanding first day, welcoming thousands of visitors, VIP guests, and marine enthusiasts from around the world. The opening day reflected Qatar’s growing leadership in the regional maritime sector, setting the tone for four days of world-class showcases, innovation, and maritime heritage along Doha’s iconic waterfront.
The second edition of Qatar Boat Show has already made waves with record participation, featuring 505 global and regional brands, 85 exhibitors, and more than 65 yachts, representing 25 participating countries. The exhibition also recorded a 25% increase in participation compared to its inaugural edition, establishing it as the fastest-growing marine showcase in the region.
With over 50% of exhibitors representing local Qatari companies, the show highlights Qatar’s growing capabilities in marine manufacturing and innovation, reinforcing its position as a rising hub for yachting and luxury tourism. Moreover, 55% of the boats displayed are 2025 models, underscoring the show’s focus on new releases and technological advancement.
The spirit of innovation came to life on the marina, where several world and regional premiers captured the spotlight. The Nomad 101 preview by Gulf Craft emerged as one of the key highlights, reaffirming Qatar Boat Show’s status as the region’s foremost platform where global and regional brands unveil their latest innovations in yacht design and technology.
Additionally, the marina unveiled an impressive lineup of yacht premieres, including global launches such as the 74-metre Ultra Vultra by Amels Yachting and Sunreef’s Ultima 55, regional debuts from Al Shaali Marine, Seven Craft, and Aldhaen and four Qatari launches from local innovators including Tornado, Halul, Belhambar, and Jenan Marine.
Adding to the excitement, key members of the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss) such as Benetti and Gulf Craft, hosted exclusive press events during the show to announce new projects and upcoming launches. Their participation underscored Qatar Boat Show’s growing reputation as a strategic meeting point for the world’s most influential yacht builders and marine brands.
This year’s edition is supported by a strong network of national and industry partners that reflect the growing confidence in Qatar’s maritime vision. Strategic partners include the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Visit Qatar, Ooredoo, and Al Kass, along with several leading public and private entities whose collaboration continues to elevate the show’s global stature. With the number of sponsors doubling from last year, their collective support reinforces Qatar Boat Show’s growing influence in the world of yachting, luxury, and innovation.
Visitors were immersed in a vibrant showcase of art, music, and world-class dining that reflected the dynamic spirit of the show. The Oshar Art Gallery invited guests to explore Qatar’s maritime heritage through striking works by Qatar-based artists, while live musical performances, fireworks, and drone shows enlivened the marina with color and rhythm. Along the promenade, visitors experienced Qatar’s finest culinary offerings, from the floating cafés Earth and Qinwan to the elegant Entrecôte, alongside over 30 local and international food outlets that transformed Old Doha Port into a lively hub of entertainment and culture on the show’s first night.
